PURPOSE
To amend the 2024 Fee Resolution to add fees for Marijuana Licensing.
BACKGROUND
On February 6, 2024, City Council approved Ordinance 2439 to Amend the Municipal Code and allow the licensing of Marijuana businesses in the city. This Resolution will amend the 2024 Fee Resolution to add local fees for the licensing of marijuana businesses.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The city needs to have fees in place to cover the cost of licensing marijuana businesses in the city and therefore recommends approval of the amendment to the 2024 Fee Resolution.
