PURPOSE
To approve a resolution setting the property tax mill levy for 2025 at 0.00 mills.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
The Commissioners have adopted the 2025 Budget, and the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating purposes from property tax revenue is $0.00.
The mill levy of 0.00 will be certified to Adams County and no general property taxes will be collected in 2025.
CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM
An increase to the mill levy may occur when infrastructure is required.
BUDGET IMPACT
The South Brighton G.I.D. budget will be balanced if the $0.00 property tax revenue is used.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending no change to the mill levy.

Adopt, Amend, or Deny the proposed resolution.
