1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Mills called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.
2. SWEARING IN OF NEW COUNCIL MEMBERS
A. Swearing In Ceremony by Judge Michelle Kline
Judge Michelle Kline administered the oath of office to Mayor Gregory Mills, Councilmembers Matt Johnston, Ann Taddeo, Clint Blackhurst, Jan Pawlowski, and Peter Padilla.
3. ROLL CALL
Present: 9 - Mayor Mills, Councilmember Blackhurst, Councilmember Cushing, Councilmember Johnston, Councilmember Padilla, Councilmember Pawlowski, Councilmember Pollack, Councilmember Taddeo, and Councilmember Watts
4. APPROVAL OF REGULAR AGENDA
Motion by Councilmember Johnston, seconded by Councilmember Pawlowski, to approve the Regular Agenda as presented. Motion passed by the following vote:
Aye: 9 - Mayor Mills, Councilmember Blackhurst, Councilmember Cushing, Councilmember Johnston, Councilmember Padilla, Councilmember Pawlowski, Councilmember Pollack, Councilmember Taddeo, and Councilmember Watts
5. GENERAL BUSINESS
A. Reorganization of City Council (Selection of Mayor Pro Tem)
Mayor Mills asked each Councilmember if they were interested in serving as Mayor Pro Tem and Councilmembers Cushing, Watts and Pawlowski expressed an interest. City Clerk Natalie Hoel distributed paper ballots to all Councilmembers.
City Attorney Alicia Calderón and City Clerk Natalie Hoel collected the ballots, and tallied the votes.
Mayor Mills announced that Councilmember Cushing would serve as Mayor Pro Tem.
B. Swearing In of Mayor Pro Tem by Judge Michelle Kline
Judge Michelle Kline administered the oath of office to Mayor Pro Tem Adam Cushing.
C. Comments by New City Council Members
Mayor Mills and Councilmembers Johnston, Taddeo, Blackhurst, Pawlowski and Padilla introduced their family and friends, thanked everyone for their support and expressed their excitement to serve the City in the future.
6. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Mills adjourned the meeting at 7:09 p.m.
