1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Mills called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
A. Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag
Mayor Mills led the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag.
B. Roll Call
Present: 8 - Mayor Mills, Mayor Pro Tem Johnston, Councilmember Blackhurst,
Councilmember Cushing, Councilmember Humbert, Councilmember Jordinelli,
Councilmember Pollack, and Councilmember Watts
2. APPROVAL OF REGULAR AGENDA
Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Johnston, seconded by Councilmember Watts, to approve the Regular Agenda as presented. Motion passed by the following vote:
Aye: 8 - Mayor Mills, Mayor Pro Tem Johnston, Councilmember Blackhurst, Councilmember Cushing, Councilmember Humbert, Councilmember Jordinelli, Councilmember Pollack, and Councilmember Watts
3. PUBLIC INVITED TO BE HEARD ON MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA (Speakers limited to five minutes)
Michael Boutwell, Brighton. Mr. Boutwell spoke about his background, wanting to make the City a better place to live and is running for City Council for the betterment of Brighton.
T’Nell Page, Brighton. Ms. Page thanked everyone for the opportunity to be a candidate for City Council and the chance to represent Brighton.
4. RESOLUTIONS
A. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRIGHTON, COLORADO CERTIFYING THE BALLOT CONTENT FOR THE SPECIAL MAIL BALLOT MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR WARD 2 COUNCIL MEMBER TO BE HELD ON APRIL 28, 2020; DESIGNATING THE VOTING LOCATION AND STAND-ALONE DROP-OFF LOCATIONS; AND SETTING FORTH OTHER DETAILS RELATED THERETO
Mayor Mills read the title of the Resolution into the record.
Motion by Councilmember Blackhurst, seconded by Councilmember Watts, to approve Resolution 2020-21. Motion passed by the following vote:
