INTRODUCTION / PURPOSE
The Second Amendment to the Brighton Crossing Filing No. 7 Development Agreement (the "Second Amendment") impacts an approximately 20.905-acre property (the "Property"), generally located to the north of East Bridge Street, west of Mt. Bierstadt Street, east of Wooten Avenue and south of the intersection of Singletree Lane and Bowie Drive, situated within the Brighton Crossings Development. Brookfield Residential LLC is the applicant (the "Applicant") and Property owner (the "Owner"). The Applicant requests to amend the Brighton Crossing Filing No. 7 Development Agreement (the "Agreement") in order to add a new phase of public improvements.
BACKGROUND / PROCESSES
The Property was platted in 2020 under the Brighton Crossing Filing No. 7 Final Plat and incorporated into the associated Agreement. As the original Agreement was approved by City Council, any amendments shall be reviewed by City Council with a resolution to approve or deny the request. City Council approved the First Amendment to the Brighton Crossing Filing No. 7 Development Agreement (the "First Amendment") in 2023 to incorporate additional public improvements associated with two new phases of development.

The Second Amendment details the public improvements outlined in the approved subdivision plan that was accepted by City Council on March 4, 2025. The Second Amendment does not alter the original intent of the Agreement or First Amendment, and any proposed changes are only to allow for additional public improvements to accommodate 126 single-family residential lots.
