PURPOSE
Requesting City Council approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Brighton and Adams County for the administration of the Community Development Block Grant Minor Home Repair Program.

BACKGROUND

Adams County has provided the administration for the Minor Home Repair Program during program year 2016-2017.  This MOU outlines the responsibilities between the Adams County and the City of Brighton if the City elects to use the annual allocation for the Minor Home Repair program.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Authorizing this MOU will allow the County to retain 20% of the Minor Home Repair Program allocation for the administration of the program in years in which funds are committed to this program.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that City Council approve the MOU authorizing Adams County to retain 20% of the Minor Home Repair program allocation for the administration of this program.
