PURPOSE
To discuss in executive session matters involving personnel matters for a City Council employee.
BACKGROUND
The City Council directly appoints the City Manager, City Attorney, and Municipal Judge. The Municipal Judge is appointed pursuant to Brighton Municipal Charter Section 8.2 for a two-year term. This executive session is to discuss the renewal of the Municipal Judge agreement.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
City Council may make a motion, with the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, to recess for an executive session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(f)(I) and Charter Section 5.4(C)(5) for personnel matters.
