PURPOSE
To conduct an attorney-client privileged communication on pending and concluded litigation and claims involving the City.
BACKGROUND
The City Attorney’s Office monitors and works with outside counsel on all litigation and notices of claim received by the City. Approximately twice a year, the City Attorney provides an update on claims and pending cases to City Council.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
A Motion to Recess into Executive Session pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-6-402(4)(b) and Charter Section 5.4(C)(3).
