PURPOSE:
To select two Council Members to interview applicants in accordance with the Policy Regarding the Interview and Appointment Procedures for City Board, Commission and Authority Members.
BACKGROUND:
In 2023, a representative from Ward 3 and Ward 4 conducted interviews for Board applicants. Section II, D of the Policy requires that the two members selected to conduct interviews in 2024 shall be representatives from Ward 1 and Ward 2. These representatives will be selected by a majority vote.
