PURPOSE:
To appoint by Resolution members to the following Board and Commissions:
Lodging Tax
Historic Preservation Commission
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
Housing Authority
Board of Appeals
BACKGROUND:
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon City Council recommendation; members are appointed by the Mayor with Ratification by City Council. City Council interviews were held on December 9, 2014 to fill the open board and Commission seats.
Lodging Tax - three (3) open seats, one (1) application received.
Historic Preservation Commission - two (2) open seats, two (2) applications received.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board - four (4) open seats, two (2) applications received.
Housing Authority - four (4) open seats, three (3) applications received.
Board of Appeals - three (3) open seats, one (1) application received.
