PURPOSE:
To appoint by Resolution a member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND:
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon City Council recommendation; members are appointed by the Mayor with Ratification by City Council.
There are currently three (3) vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. There were three (3) applications received by the City Clerk’s Office and the City Council interviews were held on November 14, 2017.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
