PURPOSE:

 

To appoint by Resolution a professional member to the Historic Preservation Commission.

 

STRATEGIC FOCUS AREA:

 

Safe, Active and Engaged Community

 

BACKGROUND:

 

Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon Board recommendation, members are appointed by the Mayor with ratification by City Council.

 

There are currently three (3) vacancies on the Historic Preservation Commission. There was one (1) application received.

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
