PURPOSE:

 

To appoint by Resolution a member to the Historic Preservation Commission.

 

BACKGROUND:

 

Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon Board recommendation, members are appointed by the Mayor with ratification by City Council.

 

There are currently five (5) vacancies on the Historic Preservation Commission. There was one (1) application received.

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
