PURPOSE
To appoint by Resolution members to the Sustainability Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND
On May 20, 2025, City Council approved Ordinance 2474 creating the Sustainability Advisory Board. Membership will consist of five (5) At-Large members and two (2) youth members. Three members will be appointed to three-year initial terms and two applicants will be appointed to two-year initial terms.
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process, and upon staff recommendation, members are appointed by City Council.
There are currently five (5) At-Large vacancies on the Sustainability Advisory Board. Staff conducted interviews and is recommending the appointment of five (5) At-Large members for their initial terms.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
