PURPOSE
Requesting City Council approval to amend the contract awarded to Bohannan Huston, Inc. (the "Amendment") for Project No. 22-007211 Transportation Master Plan (the "Project") and giving the City Manager, or designee, authority to execute the Amendment. Per City Code Section 3-8-90: "[a]ll materials, supplies, equipment, service and construction contracts, except as otherwise provided in this Article, with an estimated cost of greater than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), shall be awarded through the formal bid process or the formal RFP process by the City Council. After due notice inviting bids, purchase orders and contracts shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder."

BACKGROUND
The City of Brighton ("City") elected to update the 2016 Transportation Master Plan to amend the plan as intended during the original plan's inception and adoption. The City solicited informally to three on-call vendors to obtain quotes for the Project. Bohannan Huston, Inc. was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible proposer. After commencement of the Project, the City requested an amendment to add public meetings and engagement to the scope of work. The proposed Amendment will allow for public education, interaction, engagement, and incorporation of comments provided during the public meetings into the Project.
