PURPOSE
Requesting City Council approval of a formal solicitation for the City of Brighton, ERP Consulting Services to the most responsive and responsible proposer, and approving the resolution giving the Mayor authority to sign the contract. Municipal Code Section 3.08.090, ". . . . All bids and proposals in excess of $50,000 shall be awarded through formal written procedures by the city council."
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
There are many concerns as to the effectiveness, efficiencies and processes that our current system (Innoprise) is achieving.
The City's current system is lacking new developments in citizen engagement and service delivery. The objective is to have the consultant help identify the gaps that we have in software and business processes in order to provide best of breed software solutions to city staff to increase productivity and find efficiencies.
Three (3) formal proposals were received on June 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
The firms submitting proposals are:
> Berry Dunn
> Point B, Inc.
> Technology Evaluation Centers, Inc.
The Project Team met with Berry Dunn to better understand their proposal. All the Proposals received were evaluated by the project team and while all were impressive, Berry Dunn best met the vision of the Project Team.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Sufficient funding was approved in the 2018 budget for the ERP Consulting Services Project. The proposal from Berry Dunn is within the budgeted amount.
