PURPOSE

Mayor Pro Tem requested a resolution to support Adams County Ballot Measure 1A and further information on how this affects the City of Brighton.

 

BACKGROUND

 

Adams County faces a 10,000-home deficit and 58% of renters and 31% of homeowners in Brighton spend over 30% of their income on housing. Housing instability affects education, skill development, and employment.

 

OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION

 

Approve, deny, or amend the resolution in support of Ballot Measure 1A.
