PURPOSE
Requesting City Council's approval for procurement of 22-007252M Traffic Signal Rewire by awarding a Master Price Agreement to TAT Construction, LLC, deemed the most responsive and responsible bidder of the three (3) responses received to the posted solicitation, and approving the resolution giving the City Manager, or designee, authority to execute the contract. Per City Code Section 3-8-90, "All materials, supplies, equipment, service and construction contracts, except as otherwise provided in this Article, with an estimated cost of greater than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), shall be awarded through the formal bid process or the formal RFP process by the City Council. After due notice inviting bids, purchase orders and contracts shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder."

BACKGROUND
The City of Brighton has over three dozen traffic signals across the transportation network. Each year, annual inspections are performed on the traffic signal equipment for performance, compliance, and functionality. Further, routine traffic signal maintenance is performed on traffic signals to maintain safe and reliable operation. Traffic signals are essential in controlling the orderly flow of traffic through intersections.
