PURPOSE
To approve a resolution adopting the 2024 Budget for the City of Brighton at $265,434,894.

BACKGROUND
The City Council must annually adopt the budget for the general operations of the City, its capital commitments, special revenue funds, and enterprise funds. Recommended appropriations for the 2024 Budget are $265,434,894 as broken out in the attached resolution.
CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM
The City Council must appropriate funds for the annual budget through the adoption of the annual budget resolution.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of the attached 2024 Budget Resolution.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
Approve, amend, or deny the proposed resolution.
