BACKGROUND
The City Council of the City of Brighton considered the City Council Policy Regarding the Interview and Appointment Procedures for City Board, Commission and Authority Members (“Policy”) on March 3, 2026. If approved, the Policy creates a panel of four council members who will be contacted when applicants for certain boards and commissions require an interview. This evening City Council needs to select and approve by motion the four council members who will be on the panel to conduct interviews.
