PURPOSE:
To appoint by Resolution a member to the Brighton Housing Authority.
BACKGROUND:
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process, and upon Board recommendation and City Council recommendation, members are appointed by the Mayor with Ratification by City Council.
There are currently five (5) vacancies on the Brighton Housing Authority, one (1) applicant was interviewed by Council Member Collins and Council Member Carbajal on June 30, 2026.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
