CONTINUATION FROM SEPTEMBER 15 MEETING
The Bromley Park Planned Unit Development (PUD) 38th Amendment (the “Application”) was presented to the City Council at the September 15, 2026, meeting. A motion was approved to continue the Application to October 6, 2026, to allow the applicant to make certain changes requested by City Council. Specifically, the City Council requested that the following uses be removed from the Application; Storage of Gasses or Liquefied Petroleum and Oil and Gas – Drilling. The beforementioned uses have been removed from the Application, and the change is reflected in the updated Amendment document.
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff finds the removal of the uses as requested by the City Council meets the intent of the motion that was made at the September 15th meeting. Staff therefore recommends approval of the Application. Staff has prepared a draft ordinance for approval if the City Council agrees with this recommendation.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
The City Council has the following options when reviewing this Application. The City Council may:
Approve the Application;
Deny the Application and provide justification for the denial; or
Continue the item to be heard at a later, specified date for modifications to be made to the PUD or to obtain additional information to ensure compliance with the approval criteria as set forth in the LUDC.
