PURPOSE
Requesting City Council approval of a formal Request for Qualifications and Proposal for the Water Master Plan to the qualified most responsive and responsible firm and approving the resolution giving the Mayor authority to sign the contract. Municipal Code Section 3.08.090, ". . . . All bids and proposals in excess of $50,000 shall be awarded through formal written procedures by the city council."
BACKGROUND
The City intends to select an Engineering Consultant to provide professional planning, engineering and relevant services to assist the City in preparing the City of Brighton Water Master Plan. Master planning allows the City to quantify the current status of the existing system, efficiently and effectively manage limited resources for the greatest benefit for the system, and ensure required system upgrades are identified for future development. Formal summaries of Qualifications and Proposal were received from firms for the Water Master Plan on April 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
