PURPOSE
To approve a resolution adopting the 2027 budget for the City of Brighton at $206,030,819.
BACKGROUND
The City Council must annually adopt the budget for the general operations of the City, its capital commitments, special revenue funds, and enterprise funds. Recommended appropriations for the 2027 Budget are $206,030,819 as broken out in the attached resolution.
CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM
City Council must appropriate funds for the annual budget through adoption of the annual budget resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
As this resolution sets the budget for the upcoming year, there will be a financial impact of $206,030,819. As the budget is balanced, there are revenues and fund balances sufficient to cover these costs.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the attached 2027 budget resolution.

Approve, amend, or deny the proposed resolution.
