PURPOSE
Requesting City Council approval of the Cartegraph Systems Annual Maintenance Agreement to Cartegraph Systems LLC, and approving the resolution giving the Mayor authority to renew the annual maintenance agreement. Pursuant to Municipal Code Section 3-8-90, all bids and proposals in excess of $50,000.00 shall be awarded through formal written procedures by the City Council.
BACKGROUND
Cartegraph Systems LLC, a software company authorized to do business in Colorado is the provider of the CARTEGRAPH asset management system utilized by the City for multiple departments and divisions which integrates with ‘SeeClickFix’ for the citizens of Brighton to use. The proprietary cloud based software requires periodic upkeep and maintenance be performed to apply upgrades and keep the software running as expected.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding was approved in the 2020 budget. The proposal from Cartegraph Systems LLC is within the budgeted amount.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
In completing the review and evaluation of this Annual Maintenance Agreement the recommendation is to approve the quote of Cartegraph Systems LLC, in the amount of Seventy Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($72,500.00). Cartegraph Systems LLC is in good standing with the State of Colorado
