PURPOSE
Representatives from the Board of the Brighton Legacy Foundation will provide details regarding 2025 and 2026 grant activity. There will also be a request for an increase in funding from the City’s budget for the Foundation. Representatives will be prepared to answer questions from City Council members.
BACKGROUND
The purpose of the Brighton Legacy Foundation is to help improve the quality of life in the Brighton Community by serving as the leading source directing charitable support to meet the community’s current and future needs.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Requesting an additional amount for the 2027 Brighton Legacy Foundation allocation from the City budget. For the Council’s consideration.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
To consider the increase in funding to better meet the needs of local nonprofits serving the Brighton community.
