PURPOSE
To appoint by Resolution a member to the Planning Commission
BACKGROUND
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process by two councilmembers. Upon recommendation by the councilmembers, Planning Commissioners are appointed by the City Council.
There are currently two (2) vacancies on the Planning Commission. No applications were received for the open Ward 2 position. Two applications were received by the City Clerk’s Office for the alternate open position. The interviewing councilmembers recommend one candidate for the Council’s consideration.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling the open seat.
