BACKGROUND

City Attorney Jack D. Bajorek was appointed by City Council effective 8/6/2018.  City Council is tasked with annually reviewing his performance with a process approved by City Council.  Each Council member has the opportunity to meet with City Attorney Bajorek to discuss his performance with Administrative Services Director Karen Borkowski Surine. Additionally, City Attorney Jack Bajorek’s direct reports, Acting City Manager Marv Falconburg and City Department Directors have the opportunity to complete a performance evaluation form.  These forms were submitted confidentially to Director Surine, who compiled the information and submitted a report to Council in Executive Session on 12/17/2019, along with a market rate survey for the City Attorney position.  City Council discussed City Attorney Bajorek’s performance and found his performance to be acceptable.
