PURPOSE:
To appoint by Resolution a member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND:
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon City Council recommendation; members are appointed by the Mayor with Ratification by City Council.
There is currently one (1) Ward 1 vacancy to fill on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. There was one (1) application received by the City Clerk's Office and the City Council interviews were held on May 12, 2015.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
