PURPOSE:

 

To amend the terms for City District Plan Commission Members from four-year terms to three-year terms.

BACKGROUND:

 

In 2019 and 2020, the Mayor and City Council approved Resolution Nos. 2019-11, 2019-19, 2020-08, and 2020-14 appointing members to the District Plan Commission for four-year terms. The IGA with Adams County creating the District Plan Commission approved by Resolution 2017-04 calls for three-year terms for members. This Resolution will bring the appointments into compliance with Resolution 2017-04. The Terms of office for the City of Brighton District Plan Commission Members will be amended to reflect the three-year terms.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

A Resolution is attached for the purpose of amending the terms of the City of Brighton District Plan Commission members to three-year terms.
