PURPOSE
Requesting City Council's approval of the purchase and implementation of Google G Suite & Virtru Email Encryption purchased through the Colorado State Internet Portal Authority (SIPA) for $119,950, and approving the resolution giving the Mayor authority to sign said contract with SIPA. Municipal Code Section 3.08.090, ". . . . All bids and proposals in excess of $50,000 shall be awarded through formal written procedures by the city council."

FINANCIAL IMPACT
It has been agreed that our first payments will not be until 2019. The expenditure will be afforded through the release of certain Microsoft licenses and will not cost the City extra money but will save the City $111.29 per license in the long run.
