PURPOSE

A resolution of the City Council of the City of Brighton, Colorado, approving an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the City of Brighton and the Town of Lochbuie, authorizing the mayor to execute said IGA on behalf of the City, and authorizing the City Manager to undertake such tasks and execute such documents as may be required to implement said IGA on behalf of the City. 

 

BACKGROUND

The Brighton Recreation Center offers discounted annual passes and/or punch passes to the Town of Lochbuie residents at the Brighton Resident rate. The Town of Lochbuie then reimburses the City for the price differential once a year. This IGA formalizes the partnership between municipalities while providing much needed services to the residents of Lochbuie.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

None

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that City Council approves the IGA with the Town of Lochbuie.
