PURPOSE: To amend the 2017 Budget for additional revenues and expenditures.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY:
Since adoption of the 2017 budget, the City received various grants and entered into a transaction for leasing heavy equipment. The proposed budget resolution will appropriate expenditures related to these transactions, as follows:

CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM: All changes to the adopted budget must be made by a Supplemental Budget Appropriation or a Budget Re-Appropriation resolution.
BUDGET IMPACT: Additional revenue and the 2017 heavy equipment leasing transaction provided funding sources for the expenditures appropriated in this amendment.
FOR COUNCIL’S CONSIDERATION: Approve the budget amendments as presented, amend or deny.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the proposed 2017 supplemental budget resolution and appropriation.
