BACKGROUND/HISTORY
The BJAA Park that is located at the corner of North 12th & Longs Peak Street was donated to the City of Brighton on July 11, 1973. The irrigation system is outdated and inadequate and has caused severe turf issues. The layout of the park is not user friendly due to the location of many of the amenities. There is a clear evidence of Japanese culture and history at the park but many of the areas designated to this culture have also deteriorated over time. The Torii entry arch gate that is located where the park entrance was at one time needs to be refurbished. The planned improvements will make the park more user friendly so it will become a destination park like it once was.

A mandatory pre-conference was held at City Hall on February 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Formal bids were received on March 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

All bids received were opened and read into the record by Procurement & Contracts at a public bid opening.

The four (4) firms submitting bids are:

Colorado Designscapes Inc.
Integrated Site Services, Inc.
Richdell Construction Inc.
