PURPOSE
To authorize City employees who may sign on all financial and investment accounts of the City of Brighton.

BACKGROUND
The City Council adopted Resolution 2017-104 on September 19, 2017 updating the signers on the City’s accounts to include the City Manager, Finance Director, Assistant Finance Director, and Accounting Manager.
Since the adoption of Resolution 2017-104, the Finance Director position has been filled by a new candidate and the Assistant Finance Director position was recently vacated. These changes in staff require an update to the identified signers on the City’s accounts to conduct City business as well as maintain internal controls.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the resolution be approved as drafted.
