PURPOSE:

 

To appoint by Resolution a professional member to the Historic Preservation Commission.

 

STRATEGIC FOCUS AREA:

 

Safe, Active and Engaged Community

 

BACKGROUND:

 

Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon Board recommendation; members are appointed by the Mayor with ratification by City Council.

 

There are currently four (4) vacancies on the Historic Preservation Commission. There was one (1) application received.

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
