PURPOSE:
To appoint by Resolution a youth member to the Planning Commission.
STRATEGIC FOCUS AREA:
Safe, Active and Engaged Community
BACKGROUND:
Per City Council Policy, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon Board recommendation; members are appointed by the Mayor with ratification by City Council.
There are currently two (2) vacancies for youth members on the Planning Commission. There was one (1) application received by the Youth Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
