PURPOSE
To approve a resolution adopting the 2020 Budget for the City of Brighton at $139,047,768.

BACKGROUND
The City Council must annually adopt the budget for the general operations of the City, its capital commitments, special revenue funds, and enterprise funds. Recommended appropriations for the 2020 Budget are $139,047,768 as broken out in the attached budget resolution.
CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM
City Council must appropriate funds for the annual budget through adoption of the annual budget resolution.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of the attached 2020 Budget Resolution.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
Approve, amend, or deny the proposed resolution.
