PURPOSE
To approve a resolution setting forth certain fees and charges assessed by the City of Brighton for 2020.

BACKGROUND
The City Council must annually adopt a resolution setting forth certain fees and charges for the City of Brighton. The attached resolution outlines the recommended fees and charges for 2020. If adopted, these would take effect on January 1, 2020. These recommendations were developed through close consultation between the Finance Department, and the departments charging each fee, and reflect income necessary for continued levels of service as well as a review of fees and charges implemented by neighboring communities.
CRITERIA BY WHICH COUNCIL MUST CONSIDER THE ITEM
City Council must approve the annual fees and charges for certain City operations through the adoption of an annual fee resolution.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of the attached 2020 Fee Resolution.
OPTIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
Approve, amend, or deny the proposed resolution.
