BACKGROUND

In April 2019, staff pursued professional services for the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project through a process that included a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) as well as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposals were reviewed by City staff and a recommendation to move forward with Brown & Caldwell for the Phase I Design Services was brought to Council and approved by Council on September 3, 2019. Since that time, City staff and Brown & Caldwell have been moving forward with the Phase I design and wish to provide an update on the progress.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The Project for Phase I has been budgeted and already approved. No change in funding is being requested at this time. Staff will return to City Council and present information for Phase II approval later in 2020.
