PURPOSE

To formalize through a Council resolution, direction received on allocation of CARES Act funding in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement with Adams County and updated Federal guidance regarding documentation and use of CARES funding.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

The City Council approved an Intergovernmental Agreement with Adams County on May 5, 2020 accepting $3.1 million in CARES funding for execution on or before December 4, 2020. Since then staff has been working diligently to execute multiple grant programs in support of the community and as per Council direction.
