PURPOSE
To convey property currently owned by the City of Brighton at 49 S. 5th Ave to the Brighton Housing Authority

BACKGROUND
At the direction of City Council, staff has worked with the Brighton Housing Authority to transfer ownership of a residential property at 49 S. 5th Avenue from the City of Brighton to the Brighton Housing Authority. Currently, the Brighton Housing Authority has an agreement in place with the City of Brighton to utilize the property for affordable housing. The official transfer of the property to the Brighton Housing Authority will ensure the continued and long-term use of the property for affordable housing and will be an asset that the Brighton Housing Authority can use to provide additional affordable housing options for all Brighton residents for years to come.
