Supportive, Sustainable Infrastructure

BACKGROUND

Acoustic assessments enable wastewater collection system managers to transition from a rotational approach of maintenance to a condition-based approach. 2,950 manholes and 701,958 feet of sewer pipes (6 inch and 12 inch) will be evaluated to determine their conditions during this process. This will aid in establishing a plan for rehabilitation of the manholes.
