PURPOSE:

 

To appoint by Resolution a member to the Historic Preservation Commission.

 

STRATEGIC FOCUS AREA:

 

Safe, Active and Engaged Community

 

BACKGROUND:

 

Per the Brighton Municipal Code, applicants are required to go through an interview process and, upon Board recommendation, members are appointed by the Mayor with approval of City Council.

 

There is currently one (1) vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission. There was one (1)  application received.

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

A Resolution is attached for the purpose of filling one (1) open seat.
