BACKGROUND

The City of Brighton continues to enjoy a long working relationship with HUB International, who serves as our benefits brokers. Nathan Wolfe, HUB Vice President, has assisted over the many years and continues to help us achieve our goal of providing our employees with a high quality and comprehensive benefit package.

This has proven to be cost effective for the City as well as for the consumer, so we are pleased to report we will continue with UMR and Rx Benefits in 2023 with no changes to the employee contributions.

In addition to our current benefits, we are excited to introduce coverage for Regenexx cellular treatments to our benefits in 2023. There will not be an increase to the administrative costs for this program.

The Zero Card program was implemented in 2020 and is a medical program that does not go through UMR. We will retain this program with no increase to our administrative costs in 2023.

Healthcare for our medical benefits, Delta Dental for dental benefits and VSP for vision care. Dental care costs and VSP will remain the same in 2023.
