PURPOSE

City Council has requested an update regarding the Bromley/Koizuma-Hishinuma Farm. Staff is prepared to go over a brief history of the property, the City's plans for the farm moving forward, and how to best obtain public engagement to get appropriate requests for proposals from a potential third-party lessee. Local volunteer groups and other interested parties will be encouraged to help with maintenance and programming efforts in partnership with the City and lessee. City will emphasize the importance of community farming and maintaining an agriculture/local farming theme.
