PURPOSE

To discuss the draft Social Media Policy for City Council Members.

 

BACKGROUND

 

City Council Members access, use, and comment on social media.  This study session is intended to provide an opportunity for discussion and implementation of a Social Media Policy for City Council Members and to provide a review of the law around social media.  A draft policy is attached, and the presentation will provide the legal background.
