PURPOSE
A Resolution authorizing the City of Brighton to enter into a Grant Agreement with Adams County for grant funding in the amount not to exceed $420,425.00 for the Colorado Park Enhancement Project; authorizing United Power's Energy Efficiency Rebates Program as a matching obligation of $9,500.00; authorizing the City's matching obligation of $334,500.00; and authorizing the City Manager to sign and execute the Grant Agreement

Facilities, Amenities, and Open Space

BACKGROUND
Colorado Park is one of the oldest parks within Brighton. New playground, new basketball court, new LED lights for tennis court and basketball court, new off-street parking, new park identification sign, bike rack, and trail through the park connecting to the Colorado Front Range Trail are enhancement features that will be constructed and installed in Colorado Park. The Department has applied for and received Adams County Open Space Active Grant funding for these enhancements.
