PURPOSE
A resolution authorizing the City of Brighton to enter into a Mini-Grant Agreement with Adams County for grant funding in the amount not to exceed $5,000.00 for the High School Seniors Beautification Project at Brighton Sports Complex; authorizing the City's matching obligation of $7,070.00; and authorizing the City Manager to sign and execute the Agreement.

BACKGROUND
During the springs of 2012 through 2018, the Parks and Recreation Department have worked with high school seniors from Brighton High School on park beautification projects. The seniors have completed seven beautification projects within the City's Open Space and Parks instead of participating in "Senior Ditch Day". The City realizes that the Brighton Sports Complex is in need of additional trees throughout the complex, and this eighth High School Seniors' Beautification Project will occur in May 2019. Payment for a portion of the trees is what was funded with this Adams County Open Space Mini-Grant.
